It is fascinating to see how the true Self is completely content and aligned with its Design. It operates through the Design effortlessly. It has no problem with splits or the dilemmas of the "not-self." From the point of view of your essence the not-self is just that - it does not exist, but you do. In Human Design we are not talking about "what you are like" because of this or that influence. We are speaking about unique beings and we are genuinely interested by what you have to say - as yourself. We are so used to thinking that we are what we are because of external influences that it is difficult to imagine what we are as a free being.

Human Design is in the world to support you in expressing your uniqueness. What do YOU have to say, as you? That is all.

What I have to say is that we are all extraordinary beings and we are waking up to this reality. Not in terms of "being awake" as though that endows us with special status as "awake" but because this is our natural state - a state that "society", "education" and compliance has made all the more difficult. We all have been in touch with our magnificent way of being ourselves.

It was a painful moment to realize that even those whom we loved and who loved us did not see this empowerment or know how to leave it alone, to facilitate it, or educate its flowering. The Human Design, properly understood, enables us to recapture this original function and make a place for it in the world.
