Intro Reading Example

Example of a Reading Intro (hear audio below)

When a client is sitting in front of you for the first time they usually know nothing about what a chart is. So before you jump in and tell them about how they work, you should give them five minutes to explain the basics of a chart. This will be the same for any chart.

Don't educate them in Design, just orientate them a bit so they can follow along with you as you do the reading. Later, when they are listening to the reading again, it will help them understand why you are saying the things you are saying just by looking at the chart. Here is what your intro should sound like...

The key points are:

1. Check that their birth data is correct.
2. Explain there are two calculations.
3. Explain how the bodygraph gets colored in.

Again, don't turn it into a lecture on how Human Design works. Your job is to give them practical tools on how to live a better life, and the theory behind how a chart is made is NOT a practical tool. Just give them enough to have a reference point.
