Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager who can confidently communicate with clients, senior management and team members; allocate resources; manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate with our team of engineers to deliver software applications on-time and to exact design specifications.

Responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager

  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Ensure all projects are being developed to the exact design and functional specifications

Qualifications for the Technical Project Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related technical field required
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Proven ability to apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Experience with project life cycle management in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Experience with delivering software solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership skills – ability to lead and direct the work of others
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members, senior management and clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of software tools such as Jira, Asana, Github, and Gitlab
  • Working knowledge of communication tools such as Slack
